5. Payment Processing
Grass Go facilitates payment collection for the lawn care and landscaping services you provide to your clients. Payments are processed through Stripe.
Pricing Model
There are no monthly or annual subscription fees for using the Grass Go application. When your clients pay invoices online, two per-transaction fees apply: Stripe’s standard processing fee (currently 2.9% + 30¢ for cards, with lower rates for bank/ACH payments) and a Grass Go platform fee of 0.7% of the invoice total. Payments recorded manually (cash, check, or any other offline method) incur no fees. The current fee structure is also displayed within the app under Settings → Pricing and on our website. We reserve the right to modify fees with reasonable notice.
Stripe Connect
To accept payments, you must complete Stripe Connect onboarding, which establishes a connected payment account in your name. By completing onboarding, you also agree to Stripe’s Connected Account Agreement. Grass Go is not responsible for Stripe’s handling of your financial data.
Client Payments
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of invoices you create and the services you represent to your clients. Grass Go is not a party to the transaction between you and your clients and is not liable for disputes, chargebacks, or refunds arising from those transactions.
Mail Delivery
Grass Go allows you to mail physical invoices to your clients via postal mail through Lob (Lob.com, Inc.). When you submit an invoice for mailing, the letter is sent to Lob for printing and delivery via USPS. Physical mail cannot be recalled or cancelled once submitted for printing. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of recipient and return addresses before sending. Standard USPS delivery timelines apply, and Grass Go does not guarantee delivery dates or assume liability for mail lost or delayed by the postal carrier.
6. Communications Services
Grass Go offers an optional business phone system powered by Twilio, including SMS messaging and voice calling. By using these features, you agree to the following:
Phone Number Provisioning
A dedicated business phone number is provisioned for your account upon request. This number is managed by Grass Go and Twilio and remains associated with the Service. You may not transfer this number outside of the platform without coordination with us.
Message Content
You are solely responsible for the content of all messages and communications sent through your business phone number. You agree not to use the communications features to send unsolicited messages, spam, or any content that violates applicable laws, including but not limited to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and applicable A2P (application-to-person) messaging regulations.
Call Recording
When call recording is enabled, inbound and outbound calls may be recorded and transcribed. You are responsible for complying with all applicable federal and state laws regarding call recording and consent, including notifying callers when recording is active.
7. AI-Powered Features
Grass Go includes AI-powered features such as an in-app assistant, an AI voice agent for inbound calls, audio transcription, and estimate drafting. These features are powered by third-party AI models including Google Gemini and services provided by Vapi.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI-generated content (including assistant responses, transcriptions, call summaries, and drafted estimates) may contain errors and should be reviewed before use
- You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any AI-generated output before sending it to clients, using it for billing, or relying on it for business decisions

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including limitations of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will continue to apply.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
