Grass Go

About Grass Go

An all-in-one operations app built specifically for lawn care and landscaping businesses. Designed around the recurring weekly cadence at the core of the work.

Why Grass Go exists

Most lawn care operators run their business out of a notebook, a spreadsheet, or a generic invoicing app like QuickBooks Self-Employed. The big field-service platforms charge $50 to $200 per month per seat, lock half the features behind a higher tier, and aren't built around the recurring weekly cadence that defines lawn care.

Grass Go inverts that model. Every feature in the app, from the recurring schedule engine to the cards-on-file billing flow, the property map, the AI-assisted estimates, and the two-way SMS, comes from a problem real lawn care crews hit running recurring services and getting paid on time. The core app is free. Scheduling, client and property management, AI-assisted estimates, the map view, and the AI assistant are all included. The only cost is standard payment processing on online card transactions, plus an optional $24.99 phone-system add-on if you want a dedicated business line.

How Grass Go gets road-tested

Grass Go isn't built in a focus group. Every release runs against real recurring routes, real Stripe invoices, and real customer estimates. That weekly grind surfaces edge cases no synthetic test plan ever finds. Belle and Brothers Lawn Service in Macomb, Illinois has been running on Grass Go since spring 2025, and the app ships against their week.

“The recurring schedule handles itself. About half my clients auto-charge on cards on file, I send another 50–60 invoices a month, and estimates go out clear and direct. That freed me up to land more higher-ticket work.”

What we believe

  • Tools should fit the job. A weekly mowing route is not the same as a one-off plumbing callout. Lawn care deserves software designed around recurring services, properties (not just addresses), and per-visit billing.
  • Free should mean free. No bait-and-switch tier walls, no per-seat pricing, no usage caps that punish growth. If you never accept an online card payment, you never pay Grass Go a cent.
  • Pricing should be transparent. Stripe processing is 2.9% + 30¢. Grass Go adds 0.7% on top to cover Stripe's per-payout fees and keep the rest free. We show that math in the app before you send the invoice.
  • Your data belongs to you. You can export your clients, properties, and invoices any time. No lock-in.

Where we're going

Grass Go ships fast. New versions of the iOS app and the web app at app.grassgo.com release on a regular cadence, prioritizing requests from operators using the app every day. On the near-term roadmap: deeper route optimization, crew assignments, customer self-service portals, and an Android native app to complement the existing responsive web app.
